Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teens she is also involved in other styles like Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Her voice has been described by no less talented than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She worked with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry. The release date was March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the only woman in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
